Muhith leaves for US today to join IMF, WB meet

Finance Minister AMA Muhith leaves Dhaka for USA today (Wednesday) on a three-week tour to attend the annual meeting of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB) Group, reports BSS.
The 2014 annual meeting of the IMF and the WB group will be held on October 10-12 at Washington DC. Before attending the meeting of the IMF and WB, the finance minister will attend a number of programmes in New York, including the 69th UN General Assembly, celebration of the 40th anniversary of Bangladesh's Membership of the United Nations (UN) and the Global Citizen Festival-2014.
Muhith will return home on October 17.
