Muhith leaves for US tomorrow

Finance Minister A M A Muhith leaves the city for Washington tomorrow (Wednesday) to attend the 2010 Spring Meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The meetings will be held at the World Bank and IMF headquarters in Washington DC, where global leaders and lenders would evaluate the current economic situation following the global recession. Muhith will also participate in the launch of the Global Agriculture and Food Security Programme (GAFSP) and Dialogue on Sanitation and Water for All, arranged by UNICEF and World Bank. — UNB
