Muhith on way to attend ADB meeting

Finance Minister AMA Muhith on Tuesday left for Kazakhstan to attend the 47th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The four-day meeting will open on May 2 at Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. On the sideline of the meeting Muhith will hold talks with executive director of the ADB Umesh Kumar and ADB president Takehiko Nakao. On May 3, Muhith will meet Indian Finance Minister P Chidambaram and join the 8th informal meeting of SAARC finance ministers. He will then join governor’s plenary session “Achieving Achievable a Disaster Resilient Future”. On May 5, Muhith will attend the governor’s roundtable discussion and the second business session before leaving for home on the same day, according to UNB.
