Mujaheed appeal verdict Tuesday

The Supreme Court will deliver its verdict on Tuesday on the appeal of condemned war crimes convict Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mujaheed seeking his acquittal of all the charges. The case was included in the cause list of the appellate division bench published on Monday. Earlier on May 27, the four-member bench of the Appellate Division led by Chief Justice SK Sinha fixed the date as the arguments on appeal of the Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General ended on the day. The other members of the bench are Justice Nazmun Ara Sultana, Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain, and Justice Hassan Foyez Siddique, according to a news agency.
