Mujib murder case: Anisul Huq made state counsel

The government has appointed advocate Anisul Huq as state counsel for conducting the Bangabandhu murder case, which is now in the phase of hearing on the leave-to-appeal petitions of the condemned convicts. When contacted over phone Sunday, Anis, confirmed his appointment and told the news agency that the government also has appointed two other lawyers to assist him in the case. They are Nurul Islam Sujan and Mosharraf Hossain Kazol. —UNB
