Mukti Sangha emerge champions

Mukti Sangha of Rajshahi emerged champions in the 2nd Inter District Club Cup Cricket beating Bir Bikram Yamin KC of Sylhet by 44 runs in the final at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur Saturday, reports UNB). Batting first, Mukti Sangha scored 243 runs for 9 in 50 overs with Rahat Sadek making 66 and Kamrul Hasan 34 runs. In reply, BB Yamin KC were all out for 92 runs in 17.5 overs to concede 44 runs defeat in Parabola Method. Kamrul Hasan, Sabbir Ahmed and Sanjamul Islam took three wickets each conceding 11, 18 and 19 runs respectively. Later, Kamrul Hasan of the Mukti Sangha, for his all round performances, was adjudged man of the final. Rucksin Azad of the champions Mukti Sangha named as man of the tournament, Shafaq Al Zabir of the same team awarded for the highest wicket taker while Fazle Rabbi of Barisal Abahani KC awarded for the highest scorer of the tournament.
