Muktijoddha beat Arambagh

League leaders Muktijoddha Sangsad KC notched a facile 3-0 goals win over Arambagh KS in a match of the GrameenPhone Bangladesh League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS) in the city Monday, reports UNB. With the day's result, Muktijoddha SKC retained solo lead in the league table securing 35 points, while Arambagh KS remained at 16 points, both playing 14 matches. In the day's match, Mithun Chowdhury put Muktijoddha SKC ahead in the 14th minute while foreign recruit Boris Kochikin doubled the margin for Muktijoddha SKC in the 47th minute. Sudanese striker James Saeed Moga completed the winners' tally scoring the 3rd goal for the freedom fighters team in the 50th minute. In the day's other match, Brothers Union Club recorded a 2-0 victory over Soccer Club, Feni at the Bir Shreshtha Sepoy Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city's Kamlapur. In the day's match, Toru and foreign recruit Danilo scored one goal each for the Gopibagh-based orange outfit in the 45th plus and 58th minutes respectively. The result takes Brothers Union Club to 5th position with 19 points, while Soccer Club, Feni remained at 9th place with 12 points, both playing 14 matches.
