Murray embarks on search for new coach

LONDON, Apr 8 (AFP): Wimbledon champion Andy Murray revealed Tuesday that he will soon begin his search for a new coach and hopes to have appointed one by the French Open in May.
"I'll definitely look at it over the next couple of weeks," said the world number eight. "I don't plan on playing much tennis for the next week because I haven't had much time off this year."
The 26-year-old Scot ended a two-year collaboration with Ivan Lendl last month and is due to meet with members of his back-room team Wednesday to discuss plans to appoint a successor.
"I'll definitely look into it and see which route I want to go down," he said. "Once you make a decision on who it is you want to approach, they need to be up for doing it and the amount of time it requires.
"I haven't spoken to any coaches yet, I haven't written down a list of people, but I've thought a little bit about it and we'll see what happens in the next few weeks.
