Musa Meah, Iqbal re-elected CIL chairman, vice-chairman

Md Musa Meah and Mohammed Iqbal have been re-elected chairman and vice-chairman of Continental Insurance Limited (CIL) for the next two years for the consecutive third term.
The board of directors of the insurance company re-elected them at its 79th meeting held at a city hotel recently.
Musa Meah, a renowned businessman, industrialist and philanthropist of the country, is also the chairman of Kuliarchar Group, a leading frozen shrimp and ready-made garments exporter of the country.
Meah is one of the sponsor shareholders and past chairman of Golden Life Insurance Limited and sponsor-shareholder of National Credit and Commerce Bank Limited.
For his outstanding contributions to commerce, industry, banking, insurance and export, he was recognised as a CIP since 1991.
He also received many awards at national level including national export trophies in the years 2003, 2004 and 2005 consecutively.
He has long association with many educational, socio-cultural and welfare organisations.
On the other hand, Mohammed Iqbal, a renowned business personality, is engaged in construction, civil engineering, shipping, real estate sectors of the country since 1972.
He is a pioneer of real estate business in the port city - Chittagong -- of the country.
