Musa on three-day fresh remand

A Dhaka court has placed Sumon Shikder Musa on a three-day fresh remand in a case lodged over the murders of Awami League leader Jahidul Islam Tipu and college student Samia
Afrin Prity in the city's Shahjahanpur area on March 24, reports BSS.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Asheq Imam passed the order on Wednesday as the police produced Musa, believed to be the mastermind behind the double murder, before the court on completion of his four-day remand period in the case.
Investigation agency Detective Branch (DB) of Police sought his seven-day remand afresh. After hearing the plea, the court placed Musa on three-day remand.
Musa was placed on six-day remand for the first time on June 10 and again was put on a four-day on June 17.
