Tuesday, 13 November 2018

Bangladesh cricket team consistent performer Mushfiqur Rahim completed his second double ton 200* when his side was playing in the first innings on day two against visiting Zimbabwe in their second and final Test of a series at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city on Monday, reports UNB.
With this feat, he has become the first wicketkeeper-batsman to score two double centuries in Test cricket.
Mushfiq took a single run to reach the 200-run mark off Sikandar Raza, pulling a short ball off to square leg before barely made the crease as the throw arrived.
He fired 16 boundaries and one six off 406 balls to reach 200-run.
Mushfiq hit his double first with a 200-run against Sri Lanka in a drawn match at Galle International Stadium in March 2013. That came from 231 balls with 22 boundaries and one six, also in a first innings.
