Mushfiqur Rahim had to attend a hearing after expressing dissatisfaction over the process of selecting the Asia Cup squad.
Akram Khan, the board’s cricket operations committee chairman, along with acting chief executive Nizamuddin Chowdhury, was present during the hearing, Akram confirmed reporters Tuesday.
The Bangladesh skipper has been reminded of the board’s rules in the hearing.
Mushfiqur, Sunday, said in a press conference that he was ‘unhappy’ about the selectors picking the Asia Cup squad without consulting him.
Mushfiqur’s comment hinted a clear distance between him and the chief selector Faruque Ahmed, on which Akram worked, to reduce the distance.
Akram and Nizamuddin have also talked to Faruque and head coach Shane Jurgensen followed by the Mushfiqur hearing, according to a news agency.
