Music director Ali Akbar Rupu passes away

Noted music composer and director Ali Akbar Rupu died at a city hospital on Thursday. He was 57, reports UNB.
Rupu, who had long been suffering from kidney and heart diseases, breathed his last around 12:40pm at United Hospital, said her daughter Fariha Naz.
He is survived by wife, one son, one daughter and a host of relatives, fans and well-wishers to mourn his death.
