Md Muslehuddin has been promoted to the rank of managing director (MD) of the Karnaphuli Insurance Company Limited recently.
Prior to this, he was additional managing director of the company.
Muslehuddin joined the erstwhile Pakistan Insurance Corporation in 1964 and held various responsible posts till 1971.
In 1972 when Sadharan Bima Corporation emerged as the only state-owned general insurance company, he switched over there and held important posts in different departments and branches and gathered experience in underwriting, claims, re-insurance and establishment.
He also participated in different seminars, workshops and training programmes on insurance at home and abroad.
