Muslim Aid signs MoU with National Heart Foundation

Muslim Aid-UK Bangladesh Field Office (MABFO), an international charity and development organisation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with National Heart Foundation recently at its Auditorium in the city, says a press release.
The MoU was signed by Mohammad Obaidur Rahman, Country Director of Muslim Aid, Bangladesh Field office and Prof Khondker Abdul Awal (Rizvi), Secretary General, National Heart Foundation.
After signing the MoU a box of medicine as a token of distribution was handed over to Prof Brig (Rtd) Abdul Malik, Chairman of National Heart Foundation.
The purpose of this MoU is to invest joint efforts in utilising donation of medicines and medical items from AmeriCare USA. Muslim Aid received the donation worth about around USD$100,000 from its partner organisation AmeriCares based in the USA.
AmeriCares, an international orgaisation has been providing in-kind support including medicine and surgical requisite (MSR)) for free distribution among the poor patients through Muslim Aid community hospitals as well as GoB/NGO hospitals.
