Mustafa A Aolad new COO of HSBC Bangladesh

A senior executive of the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC) Limited, Mr Mustafa A Aolad, has joined the Bank's top team in Bangladesh. He has assumed the role of chief operating officer (COO).
A chartered accountant and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) as well as the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW), Mr Aolad brings with him 19 years of extensive experience gained at various financial institutions including HSBC (Bangladesh and Hong Kong), Barclays Bank plc (UK), KPMG Audit plc (UK) and other companies in the United Kingdom (UK). Mr Aolad hails from Rajbari district of Bangladesh.
Commenting on the new appointment, Mr Sanjay Prakash, HSBC CEO in Bangladesh, said, "The appointment of Mr Aolad as COO comes as a welcome move as he has extensive knowledge and experience in driving superior business performance."
