Mustafizur out for four weeks with hamstring, knee injuries

Taskin named replacement, LPL stint delayed

Mustafizur Rahman has been ruled out for four weeks, including the remainder of Bangladesh's tour of Zimbabwe, after suffering a right hamstring strain during the opening ODI and will return to Bangladesh to continue his rehabilitation, according to an announcement by Bangladesh Cricket Board on Friday.
Taskin Ahmed will replace Mustafizur for the three-match T20Is against Zimbabwe, reports Cricbuzz.
Taskin, along with Litton Das, were allowed to skip the T20Is against Zimbabwe earlier as they were issued an NOC to play the entirety of the upcoming Lanka Premier League. But the BCB has had to change their stance due to the injury of their premier left-arm pace bowler.
"We allowed them to skip the Zimbabwe T20Is as Taskin and Litton were given NOC to play in the LPL from the start but as Mustafizur is out due to injury we have included Taskin in the T20Is. He will join the LPL after completing the T20Is against Zimbabwe," BCB chief selector Habibul Bashar said on Friday.
Taskin and Shakib Al Hasan will feature for Jaffna Kings, while Litton and Mehidy Hasan Miraz will represent Galle Gallants in the LPL, scheduled from July 17 to August 8. Hasan Mahmud, who is currently playing for Kent in the T20 Blast, is expected to join Colombo Kaps before the start of the LPL.
Meanwhile, the BCB named all-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin as Mustafizur's replacement for the third and final ODI against Zimbabwe in Harare.
Bangladesh, already trailing 2-0 in the ODI series, will face Zimbabwe in the final one-day international on Saturday before the teams shift their focus to the three-match T20I series.
