Mymensingh reach final

Mymensingh DSA advanced to the final of the 31st Inter-District Cricket Championship beating Comilla DSA by two runs in DL method in the first semifinal at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur Tuesday, reports UNB.
Mymensingh will play the final Friday against the winners of Sylhet DSA or Rajshahi DSA who meet today (Wednesday) in the other semis at the same venue.
Batting first after winning the toss in the day's semis, Mymensingh scored 198 for 7 in 50 overs with opener Uttam Sarkar contributing 89 runs and lower order Arafat Salauddin scoring 62 runs.
Habib M Moballag captured three wickets for 31 runs while Abdullah Al Mamun took two wickets for 22 runs.
Chasing a revised target of 152 runs in 31 overs due to rain, Comilla DSA scored 149 for 6 in stipulated 31 overs to concede a narrow two-run defeat. Skipper Faisal Hossain Dickens scored 63 runs.
Salehin Rifat grabbed three wickets for 25 runs.
