Mystery shrouds death of female RMG worker

Mystery shrouded the death of s female garment worker in Gazipur city. Police identified the deceased as Sumi Akter, 19, daughter of late Samir Uddin of Mallaikpur village in Pirganj Upazila of Thakurgaon district. She was the worker of Man’s Apparels – a readymade garment (RMG) factory situated at Uttar Khailkoir area in the city. Neighbours found her dead body at toilet of her rented house at Purba Kalemshwar in the city on Friday. Being police recovered the body, bearing injury marks, and sent it to Gazipur Sadar Hospital for autopsy. Locals said that some miscreants might have killed her and threw the body into the toilet at sometime on Thursday night and early Friday, according to a news agency.
