Mystery shrouds housewife\\\'s death in city

The death of a pregnant housewife, who is claimed by her husband to have hanged herself, in the city's Matikata area under Cantonment Police Station Thursday night, is still shrouded in mystery. Police detained the victim's husband for interrogation in connection with the incident. The deceased was identified as Sharmin Akhter (19), wife of Tanjimul Islam alias Tono of 56/1 West Matikata. Daughter of Shah Alam, Sharmin hailed from Noakhali. — UNB
