Nabi left out as Afghanistan name squad for Ireland ODIs

Mohammad Nabi, the veteran all-rounder, has been left out of Afghanistan's 15-player squad named, on Friday, for the five-match One-Day International series against Ireland. Afghanistan have instead recalled pacer Fazalhaq Farooqi and also included Yamin Ahmadzai, Saleem Safi for the series, reports Cricbuzz.
Fareed Malik and Bilal Sami are the two other players left out of the squad which toured India last month.
The squad will be led by Rahmat Shah, who is set to captain the national team for the first time. Rahmanullah Gurbaz, meanwhile, will serve as his deputy.
The five-match series is set to begin on August 5 at the Bready Cricket Ground in Magheramason. The second match will also be played at the same venue on August 7 before the teams travel to Belfast to play the last three matches of the series, scheduled to be played on August 10, 12, and 15.
