Khawja Manzer Nadeem has been promoted to the post of deputy managing director of Dhaka Insurance Ltd recently.
He was the senior general manager of the company prior to the promotion.
Nadeem joined Dhaka Insurance Ltd, formerly the Loyeds Insurance Company Ltd, in 2005 as general manager and was posted at its Gulshan branch as in-charge.
He started his career with United Insurance Co Ltd in 1988.
Nadeem obtained M Com (Management) degree from the University of Dhaka in 1987. He has also completed a basic training course in general insurance and participated in many other courses and seminars on related subjects.
Nadeem, a former national hockey player, played for Sonali Bank in 1975, Mohammedan Sporting Club from 1985 to 1989 and Abahani Krira Chakra from 1990 to 1992.
