Nadia new Lux Channel i Superstar

Nadia Afrin has become this year’s Lux-Channel i Superstar. Beside winning Nadia Afrin Lux-Channel i Superstar-2014 crown, Nadia also got the chance to be the ‘Bangladesh Face of Lux’ and was awarded a brand new car and Tk 1 million prize money. The award was announced at the grand finale of the beauty contest at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in Dhaka. Nazifa Anzum won the first runner-up award and got Tk 0.5m while the second runner-up Nilanzana Nila got Tk 0.3m. Nadia scored the highest at the contest. Judges and audiences marked the participants while scores from the contestants’ previous performances also added to the final round marks. In this year’s prestigious beauty pageant, Nilanzana Nila, Nazifa Anzum, Nadia Afrin, Supria Shabnam and Fahmida Tasnim were the last five contestants for the crown of the champion. They were groomed for the last one year. They did intensive exercise and controlled diet. They also learnt how to catwalk and dance, according to a news agency.
