Nadim, Millat sent to jail

A Rajshahi court Tuesday sent Nadim Mostafa, a former lawmaker of BNP, who was convicted of graft and accused of abetting militants, to jail on surrender, reports bdnews24.com.
"As my client turned himself in at 11:45 am, the court sent him to jail," Nadim's lawyer AKM Fakhrul Islam said. Additional District and Sessions Judge Mosammat Lutfa Begum sent Mostafa to jail.
Meanwhile, UNB report adds: Former lawmaker of BNP from Jamalpur-1 M Rashiduzzaman Millat was sent to jail Tuesday after he surrendered before a special court in connection with a corruption case.
