Nahee Aluminum makes flying debut

Nahee Aluminum Composite Panel made a flying trading debut Sunday, as its share prices jumped more than seven-fold, mainly due to investors' irrational hype over the new issue.
The aluminum composite panel manufacturer's share price jumped to Tk 120 within a minute of the day's trading. The company's share price hovered between Tk 80 and Tk 120 on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE).
Finally, the price closed at Tk 81.60, registering an increase of 716 per cent or Tk 71.60 each on its issue price of Tk 10.
The company also led the premier bourse's transaction chart with about 4.94 million shares of Tk 473 million changing hands on the day.
On the port city's bourse -- the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), the company's share price closed at Tk 79.10, soaring 691 per cent from its offer price of Tk 10.
