Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid urged the students of the country on Saturday to help build a Bangladesh free from hunger, poverty and illiteracy, being inspired by the ideology of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, reports BSS.
"I would like to tell the students to pursue more study and carry out research on different subjects for building a hunger and poverty-free Bangladesh as dreamt by Bangabandhu," he said.
He was speaking as the chief guest at the 18th Convocation of North South University (NSU) at the Convocation Plaza on its own campus in the city's Bashundhara residential area in the city.
