Naldanga UZ poll June 9

The Election Commission (EC) announced Thursday that the election to newly-formed Naldanga Upazila in Natore would be held on June 9, reports UNB.
According to the schedule, the deadline for submission of nomination paper on May 15 while the date for scrutinising nomination papers on May 17 and the last date for withdrawal of candidature on May 24.
Meanwhile, the EC, in five phases, has completed elections to 459 out of the country's 487 upazilas this year.
Besides, the EC is going to arrange elections to 12 other upazilas on May 19.
