NAP leader dies

NATORE, Dec 27 (BSS): Khondaker Abu Ali, a veteran politician and organizer of Liberation War in 1971, died of old age complication at his Palpara residence of the town last night at the age of 80. Elderly politician Ali, a confirmed bachelor, had also been working as the general secretary of BAKSAL Natore Sub-Divisional unit in 1975. Later, he joined the National Awami Party (Muzzafar). He was the president of the Natore District unit of the NAP till his death. Late Ali was also convenor of Sarbadholiya Sangram Parishad of Natore Sub-division during the War of Liberation in 1971.
