Narayanganj road crash kills 5

At least five people were killed when a truck hit an auto-rickshaw on the Asian Highway in Rupganj upazila on Tuesday morning. Police said the accident took place around 7:30 am when the Gazipur-bound truck crashed into the Bhulta-bound three-wheeler, leaving four passengers of the auto-rickshaw dead on the spot and two others injured. The injured were rushed to Rupganj Upazila Health Complex where one of them succumbed to his injuries. — UNB
