Narcotics Control Dept inspector sued

A case was filed against Shibnath Kumar Saha, inspector of Sirajganj Narcotics Control Department, for extortion and bribery on Sunday. Monirul Islam, a resident of Mahmudpur area in Sirajganj, filed the complaint with a Senior Special Judge’s court in Sirajganj town under Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2004. Taking the complaint into cognisance, Senior Special Judge Sheikh Mohammad Nasirul Haque ordered for sending the case related documents to the Anti Corruption Commission, according to a news agency.
