Nari Maitree holds AGM

Prof Latifa Akand and Shaheen Akhter Doly have been elected president and secretary general respectively of the Nari Maitree, a non-government organisation (NGO), for next three years.
They were elected at the annual general meeting (AGM) of the NGO held in the city recently, said a press release.
Sadequnnahar and Sajeda Begum were elected vice presidents of the organisation.
The AGM also adopted and passed the annual report and budget of the organisation and elected six general members.
A two-member election commission conducted the election, the release added.
