Narsingdi 6 murders: HC upholds death sentence

A third bench of the High Court (HC) on Wednesday upheld a Narsingdi court verdict sentencing seven people to death in the sensational six-murder case. The single-judge HC bench of Justice Bhabani Prasad Singh passed the order after hearing the death references sent to him following the dissenting orders of a joint HC bench. On January, the joint High Court bench delivered split verdicts on the death sentence awarded to the seven people, according to a news agency.
