Narsingdi mayor shot at

Unknown gunmen spread bullets on Mayor of Narsingdi Lokman Hossain inside district Awami League office in Narsingdi town at about 8:30 pm Tuesday, reports UNB.
Hit by three bullets in the chest, head and abdomen, Lokman was rushed to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital in a serious condition.
Witnesses said the mayor, also Narsingdi town Awami League general secretary, was gossiping in the party office when three gunmen wearing masks entered and sprayed bullets, leaving him and his associate wounded.
