Nasim for unity to end child marriage

Minister for Health and Family Welfare Mohammad Nasim urged all on Saturday to be united to end child marriage from the society, reports BSS.
"We will have to work together to end child marriage from the society without considering religion, cast and political view," the minister said this while speaking as the chief guest at a roundtable titled "We need Law enactment and Implementation soon' at the Prothom Alo office in the city's Karwan Bazar area.
Prothom Alo, World Vision Bangladesh and Child Rights Advocacy Coalition Bangladesh jointly organised the roundtable.
Joint editor of the Prothom Alo Abdul Kaium moderated the programme.
National Human Rights Commission Chairman Dr Mizanur Rahman, member of the Standing Committee on Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Abdul Matin Khasru also spoke on the occasion.
