Nasir elected SIBL chairman

Distinguished businessman and industrialist Md Nasiruddin has been unanimously elected chairman of Social Investment Bank Limited (SIBL).
Munshi Alkhtaruzzaman and Sayedur Rahman have been elected vice chairmen, Humayun Kabir Khan executive committee chairman and Abdul Awal Patwary audit committee chairman of the bank.
They were elected at the 194th meeting of the SIBL board of directors held in the city Saturday.
Mr Nasiruddin is a leading businessman and industrialist of the country.
He is the proprietor of Nasim Trading Company and chairman of Northern General Insurance Ltd.
Munshi Akhtaruzzaman is a distinguished social worker and the president of Comilla Samiti, Dhaka.
Sayedur Rahman is the managing director of Lodestar Fashions Ltd and Mid-Asia Fashions Ltd.
