Nasiruddin made SCB chairman

Nasiruddin Ahmed Chowdhury, a member of Shippers' Council of Bangladesh (SCB), has been elected chairman of SCB for the remaining period of the term 2010-11.
Earlier, he was co-opted as a director of SCB in a board of directors meeting of the Council recently.
Mr Chowdhury, also managing director of Frank Apparels Ltd, is the present chairman of standing committee for port and shipping of BGMEA and co-chairman of standing committee for custom, said a press release.
