Authorities of Nassa group resumes production from today (Monday) at their three apparel factories in Ashulia industrial hub, which were closed for the last two days after workers' unrest.
"We've decided to start manufacturing at the closed units from Monday," director of one of the country's leading business conglomerates Saiful Alam told the FE.
He said that they have suspended production of the violence-stricken factories for the second straight days for the damage done by the violent workers during the latest unrest that cost millions of taka.
The workers of Nassa Basic Limited, Nassa Global Limited and Nassa Hightech Limited, located in a single building in Ashulia's Nischintapur area, came to join work only to find the gates closed with the notice.
