Nation expects more from students: DU acting VC

Acting Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University Professor Dr AFM Yusuf Haider today said the nation expected more from the students as they were the future of the country, reports BSS.
He urged the students of Dhaka University to achieve the quality of self-control, so they could prevent themselves from the trend of suicide.
Professor AFM Yusuf Haider was addressing as the chief guest a workshop on `The role of counseling in social relationship development and prevention of suicide' at the Teacher-Student Centre (TSC).
Students' Guide and Counseling Office of Dhaka University organised the workshop with its Director Professor Shahin Islam in the chair, a DU press release said.
