Nation looks forward to young generation with high hopes: Milan

Jahangirnagar University (JU) has welcomed its 2025-26 academic session (55th batch) undergraduate students through a freshers' reception held amid an atmosphere of enthusiasm and celebration.
The programme took place on Friday (June 19) at 4:00 pm at the university's Zahir Raihan Auditorium.
Education Minister Dr ANM Ehsanul Haque Milan attended the event as the chief guest with JU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Kamrul Ahsan in the chair.
In his address, the Education Minister urged the freshers to focus on building strong academic and professional competencies while studying at the university.
"Students have limited time to prepare for their careers and must strive to develop world-class skills within this period. While parents hold high expectations for their children, the entire nation looks forward to the young generation with high hopes," he said.
