National Bank Managing Director made OSD

The board of directors of National Bank Limited (NBL) on Tuesday made the bank's Managing Director (MD) Shamsul Huda Khan officer on special duty (OSD) over alleged irregularities. At its meeting, the board also gave NBL's Additional Managing Director Badiul Alam the charge of MD, a board member told the FE. He also said the board took the decision to protect the interest of the depositors and shareholders of the first generation private commercial bank.
