National Birth Registration Day Thursday

The National Birth Registration Day will be observed in the country Thursday.
The theme of this year’s day is ‘Once born, once registered’.
The government has taken various programmes to mark the day. A discussion will be held at BIAM Auditorium in the capital at 3pm where deputy Speaker M Fazle Rabbi Miah will attend as the chief guest, according to a news agency.
Meanwhile, President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina have issued separate messages on the occasion.
