National booters leave for Colombo today to participate in AFC Challenge Cup

A 29-member Bangladesh national football team leaves the city today (Sunday) for Sri Lanka by a Thai Airways flight to participate in the final round of the AFC Challenge Cup beginning in Colombo Tuesday , reports UNB.
BFF Vice President Shawkat Ali Khan Jahangir has been named the team leader of the Bangladesh squad comprising 21 players and eight officials.
Striker Enamul Haque has been included in the squad at the last moment.
Bangladesh have been placed in Group A along with Myanmar, hosts Sri Lanka and Tajikistan while Group B consists of DPR Korea, India, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan.
Bangladesh will play the inaugural match with Tajikistan Tuesday at 4 pm at the Sugathadasa Stadium in Colombo.
Bangladesh Squad:
Players - Aminul Haque, Nasirul Islam Nasir, Waly Faisal, Mintu Sheikh, Rezaul Karim, Atiqur Rahman Meshu, Abdul Baten Mujumder Komol, Mamunul Islam Mamun, Touhidul Alam Sabuj, Zahid Hasan Emily, Shakil Ahmed, Biplob Bhattachariya, Nasir Uddin Chowdhury, Rokonuzzaman Kanchan, Zahid Hossain, Mamun Mia, Imtiaz Sultan Jitu, Mobarak Hossain Bhuiyan, Sheikh Alamgir Kabir Rana, Mithun Chowdhury and Enamul Haque.
