National Finance gets new chairman and vice chairman

National Finance PLC has elected Independent Director Kazi Ahsan Khalil as the chairman and Director Rizwan Mannan as the vice chairman of its board of directors, effective July 19.
The appointments were made unanimously at the company's 231st board meeting held on July 19, says a press statement.
Mr Khalil brings over 37 years of banking experience, including 19 years in senior management positions, having most recently served as the Managing Director & CEO of Meghna Bank PLC.
He holds an LL.M. from the University of Dhaka and is widely recognised for his expertise in corporate governance, enterprise risk management, and strategic leadership.
Mr. Mannan is the Managing Director of OMC Steel Limited and Director of several companies within the OMC Group.
He studied law at the University of Hull in the UK and has experience in business development, strategic planning and corporate governance.
