National Moon Sighting body sits today

A meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee will be held today (Thursday) at the Islamic Foundation conference room at Baitul Mukarram Mosque in the city, says a press release.
The meeting will be held at 6:45 pm Thursday to review the news of the moon sighting of the holy Jilhajj month of 1435 hijri and to determine the date of the holy Eid-ul-Azha, it said
Alhaz Principal Matiur Rahman, Minister for Religious Affairs and Chairman of the National Moon Sighting Committee, will preside over the meeting.
