National Shooting Army SA emerge champions

Securing 9 gold, 9 silver and 14 bronze medals, Army Shooting Association emerged champions in the Priyo Prangon 29th National Shooting Championship that concluded at the National Shooting Complex in Gulshan on Wednesday, reports UNB.
Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan finished distant runners-up collecting 3 gold, 2 silver and 5 bronze medals.
Youth and Sports Secretary M Asadul Islam was the chief guest at the closing ceremony of the eight-day meet where he distributed the prizes among the winners.
Results of the day's events:
Men's 10-metre air rifles: gold- Risalatul Islam (Narayanganj Rifles Club), silver- M Rabbi Hasan (Navy Shooting Club), bronze-Joshimuzzaman (Narayanganj RC).
Men's Junior 10-metre air rifles: gold - Robiul Islam (Narayanganj RC), silver- M Zamiul Khan (BKSP Shooting Club), bronze- Arnob Sharar Ladif (BKSP SC).
Men's 50-metre free pistol: gold- M Shakil Ahmed (Army SA), silver - M Anwar Hossain (Army SA), bronze- M Raihanul Islam (Army SA).
Men's junior 50-metre free pistol: gold- Sabbir Al Amin (Army SA), silver- Shariful Islam (Army SA), bronze- Shakawat Hosasain (Army SA).
