National Tea approves 20pc cash dividend

The 37th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of National Tea Company Limited, was held at a city hotel on Friday that approved 20 per cent cash dividend for the shareholders, said a press release.
Company's chairman Dr AK Abdul Mubin presided over the meeting. Other directors of the company, ATM Murtuzza Reza Chowdhury, ndc, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Sheikh Kabir Hossain, chairman of Sonar Bangla Insurance Ltd & president of Bangladesh Insurance Association, Moinul Islam, additional secretary of the Ministry of Finance, Md Fayekuzzaman, managing director of ICB, Mirza Salman Ispahani, managing director, MM Ispahani Ltd, Asaduzzaman Shahid Khan, managing director of Zaman Chemicals & Burnish Co Ltd and HSM Ziaul Ahsan, managing director of the company, were also present.
The AGM approved 20 per cent cash dividend for the shareholders for the year 2014.
The shareholders discussed activities of the company including its development programmes and approved the audited accounts for the year 2014.
