Nationalising Ataturk Model High School

Ataturk Model High School, situated at the central point of Dagonbhuiyan upazila headquarters in Feni, is a non-government high school. It has vast properties including 240 shops in a large four-storey building.
The school is called a bridge between Mujib's Bangladesh and Ataturk's Turkey. Since its founding, Ataturk Model High School has been spreading the light of education in a large area of Feni, as well as in the greater Noakhali.
But the school cannot play its due effective role as it is still a non-government institution. It should be brought under active government management and administration in order to utilise its great potential and its scope for ensuring a permanent existence with glory.
It is highly important to bring the school under government management, as per the Section-57/(4) of the National Education Policy, 2013. There it is written that the government has taken the decision to nationalise a high school and a college in every upzila headquarters, where no government school and college exist. If Ataturk High School in Dagonbhuiyan is nationalised, the government will be benefited by its large size of commercial properties. Besides the said properties, the school has 7 multi-storeyed buildings and a big playground on 8.00 acres of land with a tall boundary wall around the school premises.
