Nat'l booters play practice match against Nepal Police Apr 18

National booters will play only practice match against Nepal Police team on April 18 before their AFC Challenge Cup engagement beginning April 26 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in the city, reports UNB.
The team will leave for Nepal on April 16 to play the match, team management committee chairman Badal Roy told the reporters at the Bangladesh Football Federation Bhaban Saturday afternoon.
He said they are trying to bring a team from India (Kolkata) to hold another exhibition match in Dhaka.
In the last president's Cup meet in Malaysia, strong Nepal Police team crushed Dhaka Abahani by 4-0 goals in the group stage match.
BFF initially picked up 25-member for the AFC Challenge Cup for group B matches. The booters are now undergoing training under the supervision of Brazilian coach Adson Silva Dido. The final squad for the AFC challenge Cup is likely to be announced on April 21.
Apart from host Bangladesh, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Macaw/Mongolia will take part in the meet. Bangladesh will play their opening match on April 26 the 2nd on April 28 and the 3rd and last match on April 30.
