Nat'l cricket league matches ended in draw

All the three four-day matches of the third round of the Ispahani Mirzapore Tea 9th National Cricket League, involving six divisions, ended in draw at different venues across the country Monday, reports UNB.
Holders Dhaka Division split points with Barisal Division in the home match at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, league leader Rajshahi Division dropped points with Chittagong Division in the away match at Chittagong Division Stadium while Khulna Division shared points with lowly Sylhet Division in the away match at Narayanganj Osmani Stadium in Fatullah.
After the day's round, Rajshahi Division maintained the top slot in the league securing 38 points while Barisal Division followed them with 29 points.
Rajshahi Division, which resumed the second innings with 78 for 3 having an overall 155-run lead over Chittagong Division, Monday declared the innings at 232 for 5 in 79 overs with lower order national batsman Farhad Reza contributing run-a-ball 69, featuring seven fours and two sixes.
In reply, Chittagong Division, which was bundled out cheaply for 115 runs in the first innings, opened the second innings Monday afternoon and scored 130 for 3 in 40 overs when bails were drawn for the fourth and final day Monday.
Brief score: Rajshahi Division innings: 192 and 232/5 (declared) in 79 overs; Farhad Reza not out 69, Mushfiqur Rahman not out 50, Nayeem Islam 43, Jahirul Islam 24, Khaled Mashud 18, extras 12, Saju Dutta 2/50, Tareq Aziz 1/45 and Yasir Arafat 1/60.
Chittagong Division innings: 115 and 130/3 in 40 overs; Aftab Ahmed not out 45, Masumudowla 33, Nazimuddin 23, Faisal Hossain not out 17, extras 8, Mushfiqur Rahman 1/4, Saqlain Sajib 1/24 and Mohammad Shahzada 1/25.
At the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, holders Dhaka Division, which was bundled out for 157 runs in the first innings, Monday resumed the second innings with overnight 155 for 4 and were all out for 257 runs in 87.3 overs with night-watch batsman Shamsur Rahman (36) making 66 off 147 balls with five fours.
In reply, Barisal Division, which piled up 304 for 9 (declared) in the first innings, opened the second innings today and scored 103 runs for in 36 runs overs with wicket keeper Shaheen Hossain scored highest 30 runs off 68 deliveries.
Dhaka Division innings: 157 and 257/10 in 87.3 overs; Shamsur Rahman 66, Mahmudullah Riyad 39, Mohammad Ashraful 28, Javed Omar 24, Talha Jubaer 3/87, Tariqul Islam 2/45 and Sajidul Islam 2/73.
Barisal Division innings: 304/9 (Dec) and 103/9 in 36 overs; Shaheen Hossain 30, Arafat Salauddin 20, Raisul Islam Rosi 19, extras 21, Mahbubul Islam Robin 4/29, Mohammad Sharif 3/33 and Mosharraf Hossain Rubel 2/9.
At the Narayanganj Osmani Stadium, Khulna Division, which scored 274 runs in the first innings, opened the second innings and were all out for 174 runs in 66.4 overs.
In reply, Sylhet Division resumed the first innings with overnight 174 for 3 and were all out for 225 runs with national wicket keeper Mushfiqur Rahim making 63 runs off 167 balls, hitting five fours and one six.
Khulna Division innings: 274 and 174 /10 in 66.4 overs. Habibul Bashar 73, Imrul Kayes 36, extras 7, Rezaul Haque 3/49, Enamul Haque Jr 2/30 and Alok Kapali 2/50.
Sylhet Division: 1st innings: 225 all out in 80.4 overs; Mushfiqur Rahim 63, Alok Kapali 59, Rajin Saleh 54, extras 23, Ziaur Rahman 4/48 and Syed Rasel 4/52.
