Nat'l hockey BKSP beat Dinajpur

Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishthan (BKSP) earned their second consecutive win in the 27th National Hockey Championship as they thrashed Dinajpur DSA by 11-1 goals at the Maulana Bhasani National Stadium in the city Thursday, reports UNB.
Syed Al Masum made a hat-trick scoring four goals, Wazed and Shihab netted two goals each while Sujon, Sajjad, Nannu scored one goal each for BKSP, which led the first half 5-0.
Towfiquddin netted the consolation goal for Dinajpur DSA from a penalty corner.
Rajshahi Division also posted their second successive win in the league beating Chittagong Division 2-1 at the same venue in the afternoon.
Raju Sarker and Bappi Kumar scored for Rajshahi while Monirul Alam Sumon for Chittagong.
In another match, Chittagong DSA earned a 5-1 goals victory over all-loser Joypurhat DSA after dominating the first half 3-1 at the same venue in the morning.
Razib struck twice while Azam, Joyraj and Javed netted one goal each for the winners. Munim scored the lone goal for the losers.
In the day's other match, Bangladesh Air Force beat Bangladesh Police by 4-2 goals after leading the first half 3-1 at the same venue in the morning.
